Saying goodbye to some people was a very different experience. When you're in high school it isn't so bad because that place (for example, Davenport) is basically an anchor for many people you graduated with. You could still see many of those people if you wanted to during Christmas, Thanksgiving, Spring break, or summer break because Davenport is still what they consider their home. However, when two of my friends graduated from ISU this month, it was kind of... shocking. Here are two fantastic women who I had only known for a very short while, and there is a significantly large possibility that I will never see them again. It made me realize that a year is not enough, two years is not enough, is a lifetime even enough to love someone as much as you are able? I have a hard time believing that it is.
Congratulations to everyone in the 2011 Class! I'm so proud of each and every one of you. I know that you'll show the world how amazing you are, because everyone else deserves to know too.
